This conference was a continuation of the ALCC’s efforts to educate the public on terrorism and to promote freedom and democracy in the Middle East in coherence with President George Bush's plan for the region and emphasizing support towards the UNSCR 1559. Our distinguished guest and keynote speaker was Mr. Walid Maalouf. Mr. Maalouf is the Director of Public Diplomacy for Middle Eastern & MEPI Affairs at USAID.
