AMERICAN LEBANESE COORDINATION COUNCIL
The American Middle East Convention
For Freedom And Democracy
Dear President George W. Bush:

The American Lebanese Coordination Council (ALCC) is honored to invite you to our historic convention, which will be organized by the largest
coalition of Americans of Middle Eastern descents. Our coalition ardently stands by your Administration as we proudly support your domestic and
foreign policies, especially the War on Terrorism and your doctrine to spread democracy and freedom in our ancestral homelands. Moreover:

a. We support the campaign against al-Qaida and the removal of the Taliban regime. We also support the duly elected Government of
Afghanistan.

b. We have endorsed the removal of the dictator Saddam Hussein, and we continue to support the establishment of a democratic pluralistic
Government in Iraq.

c. We stand by your administration, and we urge our congress, to renew the Patriot Act since it is an essential tool in combating terrorism.

d. We support your plan for the greater Middle East. Such plan gives us hope that you are staying the course to save the Middle East from
destroying itself and the free world.

e. We support the UN Resolution 1559 aimed at liberating Lebanon from all foreign troops. Prior to the Syrian occupation Lebanon was part of the
free world, espousing democracy, freedom of religion, and a free market system.  However, the Syrian’s Ba’ath regime has long sought to disrupt
Lebanon’s democratic system by empowering radical groups and through them exporting terrorism to the free world. Thus, we strongly believe
that it is in the best interest of the US to end Syria’s occupation of Lebanon. It is also in our interest to secure free election in Lebanon since such
procedure will provide an opportunity for the various Lebanese religious and ethnic communities to prove that harmonious co-existence is
conceivable in the region if proper conditions exist.

Once again Mr. President, it is an honor to have you as our distinguished speaker in our great convention in Washington, DC, which will serve as
your gateway to millions of citizens from Middle Eastern descents. This convention also provides us with the opportunity to tell our fellow American
citizens that we support your war on terrorism, as well as your doctrine to spread freedom and democracy around the world.

The convention will take place in Washington, DC on October 1, 2004 at the Wardman Park Marriott. Dinner will starts @ 7:30 PM; followed by
cultural and intellectual activities.

We thank you in advance for your time and consideration. We are looking forward to having you among us.
