• Fixing legal files in order to be able to go back to Lebanon? $1million; Allying with Syria's puppets to win parliamentary elections? $10 millions; Signing a "memorandum of understanding with Hizbullah to gain Iran's financial Backing for OTV? $ 35 millions; Taking a photo in which wearing a beauty pageant flag makes someone looks like a President? PRICELESS!!! • There are some things that money can buy, but for something like this? Beauty pageant contest!

With all due respect to the Lebanese Army, what is it with these “Lebanese Army generals”? They always reach the presidency in a fishy, shady, anarchic way and don’t leave unless someone volunteers to bomb them out of Ba’abda Palace. The irony is that the Lebanese Army logo reads: “Honor, Sacrifice, and Loyalty,” which seems to transform after reaching the presidency into: Dishonor, Egotism, and Sedition. Enough is enough. GO HOME!

• On June 12, Suleiman Frangieh Jr. launched his old/new El-Marada Party at the presence of all pro-Syrian parties and personalities. This event coincided with the commemoration of Frangieh’s father, Tony, who was a minister during his grandfather’s term, Suleiman Sr…Anyway, beside bashing the March 14th group and cherishing Syria and Bashar Assad, it would have been appropriate for Frangieh to apologize on behalf of his father to the families of Jude El-Bayeh and tens of his innocent friends who were murdered by Tony Frangieh simply because they belonged to other political parties, which led to the incident of Ehden on June 13, 1978. It would have been also nice for him to apologize on behalf of his grandfather for the murdering of 14 innocent people inside the church in Meziarah...

• The “Defense Strategy” presented by Hassan Nasrallah for Lebanon’s protection from Israel has become irrelevant for Lebanon needs a defense strategy to protect its people from both Hizbullah and Israel, as well as from Syria, Iran, the Palestinians, the Zarqawis and all other terrorists … The children of Hassan Nasrallah>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Will they eventually burn the hand that created them?

• Do you remember Akhwat Shany (Shanay's moron) show on TV that was stared by Nabieh Abou Hessen? Those old enough certainly do remember the intro of the show when we see Akhwat Shanay scared as hell running away from a snake with his feet hitting his behind only to see him a minute later running behind a helpless lizard trying to kill. This is exactly what Hizbullah has been doing lately. One day we see them running for their lives in the south, only to see them a day later flexing their muscles and trying to bully the Lebanese population in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. Typical Jeha... What happened yesterday is a mere proof that Hizbullah and its lackeys are nothing more than terrorists trying to intimidate the Lebanese people in order to strike fear in their hearts in order to surrender their demands for a free, independent, and sovereign Lebanon free of armed militias and terrorist groups. Way to go Hassan Nasrallah!!!

• Some might think that this is a "slippery when wet" traffic sign; it's not. This is General Aoun's political path since his return to Lebanon a year ago. Hey, it's not possible to make a U-turn from a straight line. The other sign is the end result of political reckless driving. So, Lebanese people, beware; poor visioned grandpa is behind the wheels trying to make another big, fat U-Turn! Keep your feet of the ground or he will knock you off >>>>>>well, you remember 1988-90>>>>>>>>>>

• On May 18, 2006, Head of the Hizbullah terrorist organization presented the Lebanese leaders during the National Dialogue a "Strategy of Defense" against Israel. On May 28, 2006, couple Israeli jest wiped out Hizbullah's front-line posts leaving the Lebanese border as defenseless as grandma. Why to go Hassan Nasrallah!!! Do you have any economic strategy that you would like to share with us??? We certainly can use more stuff of your comics.

• On May 7 2006, while Michael Aoun was addressing the crowd that gathered in Beirut Forum to celebrate his return to Lebanon from the 5 years exile in France, 10 of which were self-exile, he lamented: “They [March 14 leaders] roam the capitals of the world while the decision is here in Beirut.” This great sense of nationalism is truly touching, except that Aoun forgot that he just returned from roaming Qatar, and Washington DC before that, and France and the Vatican…. yet, not one official met him, well, Iran's Khatami, but that's another story...Does the term hypocrisy mean anything anymore?

• If this kid knows the creed of Hassan Nasrallah, would she be holding his poster close to her heart? o If the other kid understands the outdated and anti-independent Lebanon ideology of the Syrian Socialist National Party, will she be carrying its flag? o If they know how corrupt AMAL movement and its leader Nabieh Berri are, would they carry its flag? o If they know the damage that Aoun’s irrational behavior has caused Lebanon, would they be his followers? o It is true that the difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has limits.

• It’s only "fair" that a retired general, who was brought up in the poor neighborhood of Haret Hreyk (southern suburb of Beirut) along with his wife and son-in-law, get a license for a TV Network that cost $2,733,333.33 What’s not fair, however, is that other retired generals at home and abroad cannot afford a health-care plan on their same or higher salaries. Vive Le Liban and Transparency.

• Hassan Nasrallah and His ally Michael Aoun want the March 14th group to declare their position from Aoun’s candidacy, yet they refuse to declare their position from Lahoud’s term in office. However, shouldn’t the parliament terminate Lahoud’s term first and call for new presidential elections before anyone decides who he/she will elect??? To guarantee their victory, it seems that Nasrallah and Aoun want to go backward-elect president-set election date-terminate Lahoud's term...Homsy style political maneuvering.

• Hassan Nasrallah announced that he "forgives" those who allegedly wanted to assassinate him, but he will "chop off the hands and heads of those who want to disarm him." This Nasrallah is quite an interesting fella. No?

• Arab nationalism is the shortest lived myth. It was created by the efforts of the Christians who wanted to get rid of the Ottoman Turks in early 20th century and it was buried by the radical Muslims who wanted to fight everyone including each other in the early 21st century.

• Hassan Nasrallah said at a conference held at Bristol Hotel in Beirut in support of armed struggle against Israel: "We will cut off the hand and head of anyone who tries to force the resistance to disarm." Thus, one cannot help but wonder whether Nasrallah’s statement is an excerpt taken from his "working paper" with Aoun or from his "working alliance" with Hamas. Either way, it will be nice if Aoun clarifies his position on Nasrallah’s statement. After all, his representative Abbas Hashem seemed delighted while listening to Nasrallah’s threats. • UPDATE: Mr. Aoun has clarified his stance regarding Nasralla's speech. Speaking to Radio Liban Libre, Aoun explained that Nasralla's speech regarding "cut[ting] off the hand and head of anyone who tries to force the resistance to disarm" was actually a "warning" and not a "threat." Thank you Mr. Aoun; What a relief.

• Aoun announced after leaving Bkerke that he ‘can resolve the presidential crisis in 24 hours if there is an agreement on Lahoud’s replacement. Aoun probably believes that we should be ecstatic to hear that he has the solution to the Lebanese crisis. Either that or maybe we should condemn him for admitting that he has been stalling the progress of the cedar revolution and hindering all efforts to achieve a stable, free, and independent Lebanon.

• To those who believe that someone who lost the parliamentary elections should not run for president, we remind them, or teach them, that Abraham Lincoln ran in 1858 against Stephen A. Douglas for Senator and lost the election. Yet, he was later elected president and became one of America's greatest.

• Democracy and Freedom of Expression the Lebanese Orange style: We believe in democracy; elect our leader or else. We also believe in freedom of expression; dare to criticize us and we will sue you. If you're lucky, we will try the "character assassination" methods against you.
• The Bush Administration offered to rebuild the Shiite Mosque of the Golden Dome which was bombed in Samarra, Iraq. That's a great gesture towards the Shiite majority community in Iraq. However, who will rebuild the six churches of the Christian minority community in Iraq, which were burned down in retaliation for the Mosque incident? Does violence pay off now days? Anyway, if our tax money is granted for the Shiites to rebuild their Mosques, we demand equal and fair treatment and funds to rebuild our churches, Sunni Mosques, et. al.
• If the Cedar Revolution fails, the Syrians will return to stay in Lebanon forever.
• In order for Hizbullah to be disarmed peacefully, someone must substitute the annual $100 million Iranian aid; allow the smuggling of diamond and drugs through MP Hariri International Airport and throughout the Lebanese border; give him a mini-Shiite state in the south and Baalbeck, and destroy the state of Israel. Therefore, those who cannot afford these demands or options, must not pretend that they can implement UNSCR 1559. The only option is by force.
• MP Aoun rejects the election law of 2000 because it gives Muslims the leverage to chose Christian MPs; however, he does not mind to have the president of Lebanon to be elected by the people, which gives Muslims overwhelming advantage over Christians while electing him in parliament give both groups equal votes 64/64.
• Some Lebanese officials want to agree on the name of the next president before removing President Lahoud; Isn't this the main purpose of elections, which is to chose one of many?
• Read the writings on the wall Mr. Aoun:
No meeting with Secretary of State Condi Rice in Washington, DC (request was rejected) nor in Beirut;
No Addressing to Congress (request to do so was rejected);
No Meeting with President Chirac of France (visit to France was cancelled);
No Meeting with the Pope;
No Meeting with the Sunni Mufti in Lebanon;
No contact with the entire Arab world;
No backing to the presidency by the Patriarch nor by March 14th group;
You are perceived by ALL as Hizbullah ally;
You are perceived by ALL as Syria's ally;
You are backing President Lahoud and hindering the efforts of the independence group;
You have been reading from the same transcript as We2am Wahab, Talal Erslan, & Suleiman Frangieh;
You lost the Christian crowds to March 14 group;
What's next??? Another October 13, and 15 year of exile? Where to this time around?
Thus, Mr. Aoun, read the writings on the wall and have mercy on Lebanon and its brave people. Stop meddling in Lebanon's fate! Come back to March 14th group for this is the natural place for the FPM!
